| The Best Western El Grande Inn has my highest recommendation. From the minute I stepped in to register, to the time I checked out, every one was so kind and helpful. The bed was amazingly comfortable. I was also impressed by the cleanliness of my room and bathroom. There was even a special cover to prevent germ exposure on the television's remote control. I would definitely stay at the El Grande Inn again. |

| Thanksgiving night we received a friendly greeting from the front desk staff. She directed us where to park our car and travel trailer so that it would be monitored on the security camera (it's Clearlake, afterall). The hotel was suprisingly nice with interior hallways surrounding an interior courtyard. The room was clean and in good order and we found the bed comfortable (however the hide away in the couch was terrible and our son slept on the floor instead). We could see our car from our window too and encountered no problems. Check-out in the early morning was quick and easy and done with a friendly wish for a safe trip. While we usually stay at Marriott or Hilton brands, Best Western is a nice, clean place to stay for the night. When we need to visit relatives in Clearlake again, we would stay at the Best Western El Grande. |

| I booked a suite, very comfortable and clean ( I stayed an extra night) .small but comfortable rooms.wet bar, micro & fridge. View of the lake over the parking lot. Still it was nice view of MT K. Nice atrium, great little pool (indoor) and Hot Tub (out of doors) Decent little lounge, the Restaurant was unimaginative but good basic food, better choice than many other places to eat.
This was the one spot in Clearlake, and possibly on the entire lake I would recommend. There are a few much more expensive resorts, but this fit all my requirements. |

| The hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. However, the suite was small and extremely hot. It took 3 hours to cool it down enough to stay in the room. The hotel lobby area (2nd floor) was also very hot. I had to meet and hang with my friends out in the lobby because the room was too small and way too hot. Even in the lobby area, we all were sweating because the inside temperature was too hot. If you don't mind the heat, this hotel is an great place to stay for 3 people per room/suite. Anymore than 3, will be too crowded in the room. |

| The hotel is great if you just plan on sleeping. We booked it for our concert at nearby Konocti Resort. Our room was supposed to be non-smoking, but they gave us smoking. And our room was right next to the elevator, so you heard banging of luggage all the time. But I was so tired from the concert, it didn't phas eme too much. |

| I have always been impressed with this hotel. It has everything you need; pool,dining,cocktails and a very friendly staff. The rooms are very well done with lots of space for 3-4 people. I have stayed here a number of times in the last coupled of years. Great place. |
